Vacation in Mexico!!!!

Well, Tony and I have finally taken a vacation. We went to the Riviera Maya in Mexicosolute and had an absolute blast. This is our hoteland a few highlights...

The Jasper Wedding

We had the honor of being part of LaRisa(my niece) and Wyatt's wedding this weekend. Taylor was the flower girl and I couldn't help but post some of pics of her looking so beautiful and grown up. She did an amazing job and we are so proud of her...LaRisa and the girls looked amazing, and we had a lot of fun during the "preperation stage" at my house. Thanks LaRisa and Wyatt for letting us play a part in your special day!!

4th of July weekend

Tony and I were recently thrown for a whirlwind...5 days with no kids. Tony's sister Jacki and family took them on a camping trip, so Tony and I were able to have more alone-time than we have in years. It was a lot of fun, but as of tonight (Saturday) I am almost in tears because I miss my babies so much! Can't wait to see them tomorrow!

Duluth

We spend the afternoon of the 4th in Canal Park where we were able to enjoy the lake walk and take in a few of the little shops...Gotta love Tony's hat he found in a random store!

Nashwauk Fireworks

We also went to Walker (to check out tourist shops), Brainerd, the movies, and a friends house for the fireworks...whew!

Taylor's Birthday

Taylor turns 7 tomorrow! I can't believe how big she is getting and just how fast time goes. Tony and are are so pround of her...she has grown into quite the girl...always full of hugs and smiles.

We were able to surprise Taylor with a birthday party at grandma Dawn's. It was fun, and she never suspected a thing. Oh, and we ended up having a cake and sonyg for the boys' 30th as well...turned out to be a great day!

The Lake Superior Zoo

the kids and I were lucky enough to spend the day with uncle Mike and Grandpa Rick today and visit the Lake Superior Zoo (Tony was working nights and so he was sleeping). We had a great time and all of the animals were co-operative and moving around quite a bit. I love this zoo and we have gone there every year. I will have to do a compare blog one of these days and show how much they have grown. Every year these trips keep getting more and more fun...and guess what? NO STROLLER was needed today! yay!

We had such a good time and we were very gratefulof the nice weather. Pretty Great day, other than Daddy was missing it! We will have to bring him next time, huh guys?

Another few pics of Sylvie

As you can see, our little Sylvie Rae is getting quite big. She is so fun and has lots of energy that the kids enjoy on a daily basis. We are hoping that soon she will be fully housebroken, and prefer her toys over Taylor's. Right now Sylvie has a thing for barbies which does not make Taylor too happy. But, all in time I guess. Katie is madly in love with our girl, if you couldn't tell!

Hello to all!

Here we are enjoying a nice spring day. We had a lot of fun utalizing out new patio,and now the kids have teir own little space to work on their messy projects. Oh yes, the playdough is a great example of things mommy stresses about using in the house. And now, not so much. Thanks to Manda for all of the funplaydough stuff. As you can see, the kids think it is fabulous!!!

This is the flower garden that the kids and I created while Tony was at work on Mother's Day...What a better reminder of a wonderful Mother's Day. Something we can enjoy all summer...just hope they survive. Each kind of flowers hold special meaning to our family. Taylor loves geraniums, I LOVE gerbera daisys, momma's favorite are petunias and snapdragons, and my grandpa Dick was a pansy fan. They are all there! Sorry there are no pics of the work in progress...we were DIRTY and was afraid of even touching my camera.

We are doing a lot of fix-ups with the yard this spring, and I will post the finished product soon... I hope! :)

I DID IT!!!

Well all, normally i save the postings for the family updates, but I am taking a bit of space to announce my personal latest acomplishment...I officially graduated on Friday! yay!!!! Wonder what it will be like to not be in school...?
